You cannot change your current distance to a different distance if that distance/event is sold out.
If a race is sold out, the only way to get into that distance/event is to purchase a bib for that event or transfer a bib from a current registrant in that distance.
You will receive the finisher medal for the event that you registered for and if that distance was not completed there will be no recorded time in our results.

During the registration process, you have the opportunity to add refund protection from Protect Group. This enables you to receive a refund for the race if you are unable to attend the event.
Please note: You cannot retroactively add refund protection. If you select this option, refunds are given by Protect Group. The Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon is not involved in the refund process in any way. Refunds will be given on all cart items at the time of your initial checkout (items added at a later date will not be refunded).

Yes! Anyone not registered is not allowed on the race course. This includes any type of pacer who is in the traffic lane adjacent to our secured course. Course Marshalls act as additional official reviewers and are instructed to report any infractions, which may result in runner penalties, including disqualification.
No bib = No entry. There are no exceptions.
